The floorboards were filthy, and a nauseating aroma of stale beer and dirty bathrooms polluted the entire bar . Smelling a mixture of ammonia , a rotting odor and sour vomit . The counter , which should be the focal point of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and debris that looked like it had accumulated over weeks. The lavatory was in even worse condition —overflowing , with a shattered handle and surfaces marked in what I can only assume was human waste .

Going through other patrons’ reviews and speaking with locals , it seems that the state of cleanliness (or lack thereof) at this bar is a recurring complaint.
